Here is a sample assignment. Read it carefully and answer the questions below. 

Give a 10-15 minute oral presentation on media ethics. Your presentation must be based on at least 5 recent scholarly articles. You will be asked to turn in a bibliography of the sources you consulted. You must use video, slides, or other graphical media to illustrate your ideas.

Here is another sample assignment. Read it carefully and answer the questions below. 

Write a term paper outlining the opposing ideological positions of the northern and the southern states that led to the American Civil War. The term paper should be 15-20 double-spaced pages of text not including endnotes and a bibliography citing a minimum of 20 sources. At least five of your sources must be primary sources (e.g. diaries, letters, etc.)
