The application of the Copyright Law to electronic information and multimedia products is still being debated. To be safe, it is best to seek permission from the creators of these products before using them.  Be aware that large corporations such as Disney, Fox, and Kmart have become more vigilant in tacking down copyright abusers who download their logos and graphics and place them, without permission, on Web pages.
